I recently stayed at Benjatara Boutique Resort for the second time, and I have to say that the new block is much improved with clean and spacious rooms, though the lack of an operational lift was a bit of a hassle. The breakfast options were satisfying, primarily local dishes that I enjoyed. Overall, the experience was solid, but I do wish for softer pillows and whiter bed linens.

Rooms
7.0
The room was new, clean, and quite spacious. I loved the airy feel, although I found the pillows a bit too hard for my liking. Also, I wished for all the linens to be white instead of pastel colors.
Service
8.0
The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly the receptionist who seemed to work around the clock! Check-in and checkout were both fast and efficient, adding to the pleasant experience.
Location
6.0
The resort is located near my work area, which was convenient since I had a car. However, I wouldn't recommend walking around at night due to safety concerns.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast offered a good range of local dishes that I really enjoyed. Although they had American options, I opted for the delicious Thai food every morning.
Facilities
7.0
While the facilities were basic, they were adequate for my needs. I did notice that some areas were still under construction, but the overall cleanliness made up for it.

I had mixed feelings about my stay. While the new block rooms were airy and clean, the overall experience was dampened by noise and issues in the older section. The location, while a bit far from city attractions, offered a decent breakfast that I enjoyed each morning.

Rooms
6.0
I stayed in the new block which was large and airy, unlike the older rooms that felt claustrophobic. However, the hard pillows and occasional noisy neighbors were a downside.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and provided fast service during check-in and check-out. I appreciated their efforts, even if they struggled with English at times.
Location
5.0
The resort is about a few kilometers from the city center. It felt a bit isolated, especially at night, but was convenient for my needs during the day.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was decent and included basic Thai dishes. I appreciated the option to order eggs and toast fresh.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities had potential, but the older block really needs renovations. The new block was a step up, yet the older sections still require attention.

5.0/10

My stay at Benjatara Boutique Resort had its ups and downs. While the friendly staff offered decent service and the rooms were clean, the location was inconvenient. Plus, the dining experience had its quirks, particularly during breakfast.

Rooms
6.0
My room was clean and simply furnished with a comfy bed, although the bathroom design was a bit awkward. I appreciated the small balcony, but I wondered if the blankets were changed between guests.
Service
7.0
The staff were very friendly and always willing to help, even if their English wasn't the best. They made me feel welcomed during my stay.
Location
5.0
The location was a bit challenging since it was far from the main attractions and the station. I would recommend looking into affordable transportation options like local buses to get around more easily.
Dining
6.0
Dining at the resort was a mixed bag. The breakfast buffet had amazing Thai food, which I loved, but the dining area was outside with birds and flies around that made it less enjoyable.
Facilities
5.0
The resort had some nice facilities, including a decent cafe open until 7 PM, but the Wi-Fi was slow and occasionally unreliable, especially during bad weather.

6.6/10

I had a mixed experience at Benjatara Boutique Resort in Lopburi. While my second stay was smooth with efficient check-in, my first experience was quite frustrating as my booking had disappeared. The hotel is great value for money, especially with the breakfast offerings, but minor issues like the bedding quality could be improved. 🌟

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were large, clean, and had a standard layout, but the pillows were a bit hard for my liking. The new block had newer furnishings, but I noticed ongoing maintenance during the day.
Service
7.0
The service was friendly and helpful. I appreciated the quick check-in and the willingness of the staff to assist, although the first night's experience was a challenge. They made up for it in the following days.
Location
6.0
The location was very good for work, being near the Ford center, but it felt a bit unsettling for walks at night. It was not too far from the city center.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast was a highlight for me, with a good selection of local fare that I thoroughly enjoyed. There was a generous buffet with excellent Thai options.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities included essentials like room service, and while the new block had a little cafe/bar, I hope for more upgrades in the future.

My stay at Benjatara Boutique Resort was a mix of positives and a few letdowns. The location was great for visiting the monkey temple, but the standard room was basic with a hard bed. The dining experience left something to be desired: breakfast was not ideal, and dinner portions were on the smaller side. Overall, it was decent for the price I paid.

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean and modern but basic, with a hard bed. It was fine for a short stay, especially with air conditioning and hot water.
Service
8.0
The staff were super helpful and friendly, often available at the front desk to assist with directions and anything else I needed.
Location
7.0
The resort is a bit outside the city center, but close enough to catch a bus for just 10 baht. It felt safe to walk around during the day, but I wouldn’t want to wander around at night.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was kind of a letdown, with tough macaroni and served on a plastic tray. Dinner was tasty but the portions were more like appetizers than full meals.
Facilities
7.0
The place had decent amenities, including wifi and a fridge in the room, but I didn't get to use extras like room service.
